Wonen en werken

Labour and care have always been part of abbey life. For this reason, farm shop De Wikke, from social enterprise Wonen en Werken, was given a place on the site. In the tithe barn, you can find organically grown vegetables – some of which come from Park Abbey’s own vegetable garden – alongside a complementary selection of organic and local products from partners.

As part of Wonen en Werken’s horticultural project, about ten people are actively engaged on the abbey site.
